Passionate fans of the actress are demanding that a person who breached a fence and seized the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared clip shows the Australian man pushing past camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the performers made its way down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was scheduled to be present on the following morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

History of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed contains clips of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last December.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is evidently a punishable act," wrote an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Fans Express Concern Over the Star's Safety

Several fans accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her May 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote another response on Instagram.

A number of fans also questioned security officers at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande seemed shocked when she was approached by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of fans had gathered in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore venue, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The film, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the second of a dual version of the acclaimed theatrical show Wicked, which centers on the unlikely friendship between two very different characters.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of last year in the UK, and received ten award recognitions, securing a pair for best costume and production design.
