Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Battles Singer Murs in Premier League Forecasts
The Gunners' ten-match winning streak was ended by the Black Cats before the global break, but can the English top division leaders bounce back against local foes Spurs this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win."
Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, against artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of special visitors.
In the twelfth round, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
Murs' new record, Knees Up, is available on Friday.
Football and Family Experiences
Olly is a talented footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not intending a serious return as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity match the other night for a mate of mine," he said. "My side was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or son chooses to play instead."
The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have two children, Madison and their son, and he is ready to emulate his dad by becoming their manager.
"I won't push football on our children but I've previously told my wife that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be coaching their Saturday soccer side," he added.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a period too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for two or three years and had great fun with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Top Division Predictions

The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from injury but their offense is already more potent with Pedro and Delap both back fit.
In my opinion this fixture will be quite tight, however. Burnley are disciplined and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
It smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
The expert's forecast: 1-2
The singer's pick: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2

The Cherries have been defeated in their previous couple games - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, West Ham secured back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they appear strong again.
West Ham's only away win this season came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when their boss Nuno was still that team's coach.
So, what on earth do I predict here - can the Hammers extending their run under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?
I will choose the Cherries, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a blip.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's prediction: The home team are performing strongly but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1

Brentford were seen as one of the frontrunners for the drop before the season began, but they have surprised a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their last four matches.
A family member told me to select Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks ago and, guess what, I ignored the advice.
The forward will likely find the net again on Saturday but I am still not going to pick him or back Brentford at Amex Stadium.
They have not had much success on the travel this term, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. Brentford will try to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's side carry much more of a threat.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
Olly's view: It could be a match where you think there is going to be a many goals but it in reality turns out to be quite close. 1-1
AI's prediction: 2-1

It is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
Fulham have got lots of quality in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.
As for Sunderland, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
Their performance in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not witnessed any other team rough up the North London side like that this term, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they beat Chelsea at the end of last month.
But I am not going to do that. Rather, I truly need to carry on going against the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they clearly enjoy to prove me wrong.
Considering the home side's home form, the only side they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Their manager's side will be absolutely desperate for a good outcome, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know the visitors are doing well and also that the hosts are on a poor run... but they have nonetheless been respectable at home this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

It is a hard fixture to call. The Reds have lost seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but might they be among the teams who profit from the {international break|
