Ex- British Broadcasting Corporation Advisers Face MPs' Grilling In the Wake of Claims of Prejudice in Leaked Memorandum

She opens by giving details to the disclosed document written by Michael Prescott and released in a daily publication.
"It is not my wish for the BBC leaning this way or that way, I simply desire it balanced, fair and just," he says.
In response to a query if he thinks the BBC is structurally prejudiced, the adviser answers: "No I don't. To be clear, a great deal the BBC produces is exceptional - including factual and entertainment programming."
But he adds: "There is real work that must be undertaken at the BBC."
Another ex-adviser BBC adviser questioned by the committee, Caroline Daniel, remarks she regards the BBC extremely earnestly and that it operates a "persistent practice and active debate" regarding evolving and intricate issues.
"Whether the BBC was willing to have a genuine discussion and debate and take action?" she questions. "From my perspective, yes they were."
